In-store Events and Open Gaming

The magic of tabletop gaming is in the gathering and The Sanctum’s in-store play area is a comfortable, welcoming, and family-friendly place to play old favorites with friends or join fellow gamers for new experiences.  

Please see our events page or calendar to learn about the various gaming events we offer. If you don’t find an event that fits your schedule, we offer open gaming at our tables during any of our open hours where you can bring your own game or group!

Here’s the details on how both scheduled and open gaming work:

The cost is $5 per person for a day pass.  However, that $5 gives you more than just a really comfy seat:

  • You will also receive $5 of store credit on a reloadable gift card.  This credit stacks and can be used to purchase anything in the store with the exception of more in-store gaming.  

  • Access to our game rental library for in-store play.  (Just let us know before you take any games off the shelf)

  • Free guest wifi access

  • And other conveniences and amenities 

Fine print

  • Children 14 and under must be accompanied by a supervising adult for open play space use. See scheduled event details for any exceptions.

  • Please ask an associate before moving any tables.

  • The pass provides access all day as long as we have space and costs the same if you arrive at 11AM or 7:48PM.  

  • Any events or tournaments that offer prizes or rewards MUST be approved beforehand.

  • Taxes and other fees may apply to purchase made with store credit.

  • Open gaming may not be available on event days. Check our schedule beforehand to make sure.

  • Larger groups may wish to call ahead to check table availability.

  • We reserve the right to ask anyone to leave the play area or store for any reason, at any time we deem necessary without explanation.
